My mother is getting back at me for a boyfriend she doesn't approve of by "forgetting" to tell me things. She didn't tell me when my Nan died, she didn't tell me when my Grandma was diagnosed with cancer, she didn't tell me when my sister's birthday party was, and now she's done it again! Apparently it's my brother's birthday party tonight, and I only found out because my sister mentioned it. Now I have to find a present and get transport out to a party where my parents will sit in silent disapproval watching everything I do, say, think and eat.
