When I was younger, I beat the shit out of my cousin twice. On one occasion, I knocked three of his teeth out on the edge of a metal bed. The second occasion was on a birthday, when he wouldn't let me take my turn on a video game. And it was his fucking birthday. I can't imagine how he feels. He's never said anything, but every time I think of either, I feel like complete shit.
